TREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a feeling I'm going to be without power for awhile.

Last night we had a little storm, and I mean little.  It rained, the wind blew a bit,
no biggie.  No drain of power, inside, so how would I know this was happening right
outside my own house. My neighbors massive tree, must have, just had it, and
eased its self, slowly to the ground. Taking all power, cable and phone lines with it.
But get this, I still have power, phone and cable!
The power company was nice enough to leave it alone til this morning, so here
gos the round of phone calls...!

Addendum: Power is back on, even though we need new weather-head, meter and wire up to code, the crew from the electrical company, hooked us up! It's to hot to be without power.  I am so grateful!

Oh no! These storms have really be something this summer! We've lost power almost every week. No trees down like that though. Tomarrow another round for us. Hope if they have to turn off your power you get it back soon! Stay safe too!

Thanks, Becca, we're okay now, and it wasn't even a bad storm...but I have power again.

It has been a terrible season for storms this year. Just last week, four tornadoes touched down in the state in one day. And we're not known for having them, really. Thank goodness everyone is fine and that you are once again with power! Theresa

Oh yes, way to hot to be without electric!! My husband and I keep hoping for a storm here it's been so hot and they keep going around us!! This has been the strangest Summer.

Glad to hear you weren't without power for long.

Hopefully the rest of the week is uneventful!!

Theresa, we usually have tornado warnings, and you expect what they can produce, we are fine, though, thanks.

Good heavens! But what a polite tree ~ I mean just kinda gently laying down ~ guess the heat got to it too. ;)
Seriously ~ glad to hear all is well now.
