The Shuffle...

Several years ago, I made this cupboard out of old doors.

And the inside, plus Little Girl, (don't mind her, she has to inspect everything.)
Since I have 10 foot ceilings, this piece was perfect, but
then my daughter saw it and guess what, it ended up in her house.

I was on the hunt for a new cupboard, couldn't really find what I wanted
and ended up with an old TV unit, from the 90s, but it did
have a old French pine look.  I wish I'd taken a photo of it, but I didn't!
I took the doors off, painted it, didn't quite finish it because I really
didn't care for it.

This past weekend my daughter had a garage sale...what a great way to
unload  the piece!  I rushed to finish the paint job, distressed and
waxed it down, trudged it through the house and out the door...Mr.
Honey did help, he held the door open.
I truck the piece over to the garage sale, unload it, and
what do you think my daughter said?
"OH, I think I want it!  It's smaller and would look better in my
house than the big one!
I'll trade it for the big one!"  Okay!

So I truck this one back home, which is really heavy, being made of
100 year old solid wood.
But it does hold my all white collection.
For now I'll leave it black, and fill every nook and cranny!

Be well!

Quite exhausting - but look at all the treasures you can hold there. :) Funny story with a win-win outcome for both of you. Hurray! Theresa
