The Good Egg!

Is all cracked up!
I started boiling eggs for Easter and realized I didn't have any
coloring to make those pretty pastel shells come to life.
Where are the cans of beets when I need them?
All I could find was tea.  So I turned my perfectly white eggs,
(except for the ones that cracked), into brown eggs.
I could have just bought brown eggs, right!
Doesn't matter, because they're all going to get mashed up anyway.
I do sepia tones.

The eggs that cracked, which I conveniently didn't show,
cracked because I was outside cutting the stems of
my snowball flowers.

So pretty, especially after today s rain.

There's one cracked egg. Truth, I had 4 cracked up eggs.

Egg Salad, Deviled Eggs?
It's Easter so add a bite of Chocolate and you're ready to go!!!

Happy Easter!

P.S. I'm so bummed those panteletts are a wee bit too small . . . incentive to shed a few more pounds!

I love the tea stained eggs. I had plenty of dye on hand but didn't color as many eggs as I usually do because who needs deviled eggs or egg salad all week long? Happy Easter Lisa. Hugs

Did you ever make egg and olive salad?
It is the best and almost only thing I kept from childhood.
The green olives with pimentos.
Your moon boy...
lots of love in him.
♥♥♥
Glad you are feeling better.

I love your Snowball flowers!!! I haven't got any flowers in my yard, yet. The tea dyed eggs look much prettier than the eggs that start out brown...
Hope your Easter was as good as mine!

so beautiful - I love the arrangements with the eggs. And the colours are tones are so gentle and soft.
