Gellly Roll!

       Quick doodle,

with my Gelly Roll pen.  I wanted to use
my pen and ink nibs,

but the bottle of white ink was all dried up!

I really like the look of opaque,  white ink on dark paper.
Not saying that crayons or pencils don't work as well, I
just like the way ink flows.
The Jelly roll pen was perfect to doodle with, and
to doodle everyday, makes practice.

Be well!

Happy New Year.

It happens every year, rain or shine!

I thought I'd get a jump-start, and clean up.
put a few of my favorite things away,

Most of you have probably put away your Christmas.
I always wait, at least til the New Year.

I am easily distracted
by pretty ribbons and glitter,

This is where the pretties land before the big clean.
I mean the big clean.
I have left my mess for months, and it shows.
So this,

and this,

this

 and this.

is really this,

and this.
(feel free to zoom in).

But I don't care. I know it will get
put away, tossed, and worked into a brand new creation.

I wish all a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!

Make it so!

Santa's

I know, I've neglected this blog for to long!

It's just been easier to say to myself, "I'll worry about it tomorrow"!
and the next day and the next...ya know!

Slap myself silly for neglecting!

I have been sculpting, and have some snowmen,
and they are currently,

at a local flower-shop in town,
The Wildflower.
I also managed the finish up
a couple of Santa's.

The bottom Santa is sold.

And believe, I am still working on little snowmen
and making Dresden die-cut Christmas banners.
So off I go!
Oh I finally got my Christmas tree,  I'll be working on that today too!

Be well, and I"ll be back!

Knock-Knock...

Who's there?

Orange!...Orange ya glad I'm still here?

I know, it's been so long since I've posted.
But I think I'm in my groove again.
Let's hope so...don't want to Jinx myself either.

I think, for many of us, blogging has slowed down.
I hope to pick up speed, and may sell from this site from time to time.
But for now,

this Halloween Pumpkin, needs some company.
I've got to get busy and play in the pulp.

Be  Well,

A Little Gab!

Gabby, is on her way to a new home.

And I'll be away from home for a bit.
But when I get back, I'm starting a few Halloween pieces.

Mr. Honey, will be starting his stem cell collection this weekend.
First few days will be injections of growth inhibitors, to get his bone marrow
to grow.  Then, the techs and Drs. will start collecting 5 million
stem cells, (see, we all collect something.), for later use, just
in case, he needs a stem cell transplant, using his own, cleaned up cells.

So that's were we will be.

Be well!

Where am I...

Oh yeah, I was playing in mache,
and got distracted. Again.

And, for a long time it seems.
Why is that?
We all know why, but really, why?

I managed to finish this little gal,
and get her shipped off.

only to realize that I made a Rhino , and not a Hippo!
My mind is gone.  Imagining what I think isn't, what is.
I'll get it fixed.
I will.

I'm trying to conquer, Photo shop elements 11.
Won't go into that right now.

I had a problem with my sewer backing up, (glad I didn't show a photo?).
Hey, this house is over 100 year old, roots were
bound to take over sometime.

And, I'm trying to change the way we eat.
It has consumed me.  But I'm not going
to preach to you,  what one should eat.

I am doing one moment at a time.
Not like these future friends,

trying to finish a little of each, all at once.

Oh, I'm working on a banner for this blog too.

Be well

Happy Easter as I Color Eggs

I really don't need to color eggs, as all my babies
are out of the house.  But some things die hard.
Like the egg.
I was going to buy brown eggs and call it done.
But, I really wanted blue eggs, and I wasn't going to rob,
Robin's nest to get them.
So, white it is,

and then,

there were shades, of blues and greens.

I then realized I have had a color theme for the last
few weeks.

I was trying to find my inspirational color when I was
painting this little guy.

I had the blue greens in mind,
I guess.
I always gather the things of
a color, that I have in mind.

I mean, really, even the water color splotch,
on the table
is in the same shade and hue I was looking for.

Now, I'm on the hunt for a shade of lavender.
for this little Hippo.

I'm not a purple person.
And we all know, never say never.

Have a great and Happy Easter!

Be Well.
