2011...Well Now, it's

been a Lula, of a year!

The  Magickal mushrooms, made me feel like a Queen.

and feel, oh so Priti!

The Faeries, led me to 2 Hermits, and I clearly read the

signs at Castle and Cottage, which led me right back to The Queen,

and a Bonnie of a Lass!

I got a little Pie'd, and was

seeing Polka dots,

as I walked the Cobblestone of

Peach St.. humming Mac the Knife,

and freaked at the Skeletons in the Dark!

Or was my Freckled imagination playing

in Light and Shadow.?

Yie, Yie, Yoborobo!

 I'd better count my Blessings  stop being a Fanatic!

and stop, Misbehavin! 

I've gained a lot abundance this past year,  and wish 

everyone a Happy, Healthy, prosperous and Revitting New Year!

Abundance in all!

I Was...

going to start taking Christmas down,

which means cleaning!  And if I'm going to clean, 

I should tackle my studio. After two months of creativity,

  you can  imagine what it looks like.

I can't show it...

Really, it's a disaster!

So...I started

Painting!

Am I a procrastinator or what?

You all know what it's like, you start cleaning and

get distracted!  Right?

Well I do!

And then I ran to Joannes, to get a piece of ribbon and came home

with a lush  piece of fabric for this chair.

I've been waiting for ever to find the right fabric.

(little girl thinks it's for her).

And the cleaning will just have to wait!

Trying to take photos, and I kind'a like the way the led

lights, make my tree more festive! That aqua color is a green

light.  I know I need to change the setting, on the camera,

but I didn't!

May your days be Merry and Bright!

Oh Brother! I'm in Hot Water Now!

A little scary, uh?

And maybe a bit creepy!

The water is boiling, and he's ready for the dip,  but in all honesty this

poor guy came frozen, so I don't have to hear the

the tap tap of him trying to claw his way out of the pot!

After he cooks, I'll clean the meat out, and

simmer the shells for broth.

I won one of her giveaways, and I knew it was coming, 

but it's still a surprise!

I think I'm going to leave it hanging all year round!

A Crown of Winter...

I was going to show a photo of my Christmas Tree,
That I finally finished trimming!

But I just realized I didn't take one.

So I'll show the Crown I just finished.

Le petite lune...

I just finished this Wee Moon Ornie.

 

He's in sepia tones, with scrap ticking and vintage 

bits and bobs, with his cone hat made of antique tin,

salvaged from an old old building.

I'll get him listed later today!

If I don't get side tracked hunting down another Christmas gift!

Oh Christmas Tree...

And 9 ft. of Douglas Fir,

stayed on the porch most of the day!

I had to rearrange the furniture...before I started

Decking my Halls!

Then I had to lug the ornaments up from the basement,

and there they stayed...oh what a tangled mess,

the strands of lights can be!

I gave up and went to buy new ones!

I did splurge on LEDs. Love them!

And we'll see if they really are energy efficient .

So, Oh Christmas Tree, will be photographed tomorrow!

 After I hang lights on the house!

Dashing Through the Snow....

Oh What Fun...!

To laugh and sing!

Yes it is fun to sing! 

And it fills you with joy and relieves

stress!  So sing, and sing out loud.

Sing a sleighing song tonight!

It did help me when I was sculpting this Santa.

I had fun sculpting him, it brought back a lot of 

my childhood memories of Christmas.

A Rose, Like no Other!

The weather outside is getting frightful! It's

cold, near freezing, but I'm still getting,

blooms

in pink!

The zinnia looks red in this photo, but

it's a deep hot pink and luscious!

It's crazy I tell ya, crazy! 

Were the bees late pollinating?

Or, a reminder that Spring is just around the corner?

Ours is not to reason why...but maybe, to step back,

and remember to smell the roses!

So Many Possibilities!

The other day I had to make a Mache run,

I grabbed my coupon for Hobby Lobby.

I was just going to run in and run out!

Yeah right!

I stumbled upon these.

This is a Lazar cut cupcake sleeve!

They come in packages of 12.

But honestly, I wouldn't put a cupcake in this, 

I'd be afraid I get icing on it...and me being me, 

I would definitely want to re-use this.

I see a crown on the horizon, or a

petticoat! 

I got a package of black and white. 

So many possibilities!

I did forget to pick up the Mache.

to Halloween!

 

But just think, we have a whole year to plan next years

costumes!

This is me, and my two daughters on Halloween night.

Not bad, since we all threw these costumes together the 

day before spooky night, using all those old clothes and 

accessories that we hardly ever wear, but couldn't

ever give away.

I Don't Know...

What I'm going to throw together and wear for 

Halloween!

But I do know I'll wear this!

It's perfume, called Halloween!

What could be more perfect?

Pumpkin Blooms, But no Pumpkins!

At this rate I may have pumpkins by Christmas!

But then I'll have to worry about a freeze.

Or Fairy Godmother could wave her magic wand...

Spray Paint!

Well, that wild hair struck again!

Yep, while sorting and cleaning out all

the left over cans of paint...I may need those colors,

I found a can of ocean blue.  Never used!

Well I took care of that really quick, what to spray?

You know I'll find something,

And I did!

These stools used to be a creamy yellow, but hey

we all need to jump once in awhile.

Mind you, this is totally the opposite of what I would normally do,

So I rubbed tinted wax on them, just to tone the color down,

I don't know if they suit me yet, but as I emptied the can

I kept thinking I should have used a safer color, like

Pumpkin Orange!

it looks like it needs to be altered!

Actually, it's a  rusted vent piece I pulled out of 

the chimney stack when I was repairing a hole in it.

But I think it wants to be an altered crown!

Maybe?
