I just have to share a couple of pretties that I won in the OWOH giveaway...2 of them arrived in the mail today.

 

The earrings arrived from Jodi of Jodaeo Design 

Aren't they so, bohemian? Maybe because I like the 

idea that they don't match. Perfect for me! Her bead work is out of this world.

And then the FedEx man rang the door bell...I'm sure Donna, at the Ribboned Crown,

can still hear me 

SCREAMING!

 

A frivolous little pretty, that makes my breath catch!

Moons Over Pearl Avenue

 

  

I just finished two, pieces, The Boy in the Moon.

They are in my Etsy shop.

I should have a couple more pieces finished tomorrow, and then

I've got a challenge piece to finish, which I'll show later.

Right now, yes this very minute I've really got the urge to

sculpt a pumpkin! No Bunnies, or Easter eggs!  Is there something 

bazaar going on in my mind? Oh yeah! Is it, dark and sinister? Or cute and vintage?

I've also got a craving for a piece of dark chocolate! At 11:42 pm.

Should I give in to the craving this late?

I seem to be asking a lot of questions tonight, which I usually answer.

A Heart I Hold Dear!!!!

 

I'm sculpting hands tonight!

                          As I was waiting for the 

spidery, long fingers to dry, I started cleaning a cupboard out and 

discovered a container full of odds and ends.  Actually treasures...tucked 

away for safe keeping.

Now most, would say it's just a rock! But, it's a rock I hold dear.

When my grandson was  young, he'd collect

anything he saw that caught his eye. Many times his pockets were full of

bottle caps, shinny foil gum wrappers, sticks...and puppy dog tails.

Anything that most of us

would call garbage. These objects were treasures to him.

One day, he said, "Honey, Honey look what I found!"

He came running to me and held his hand out to me, and said, "hold this for me".

He handed me this heart shaped rock, and I've been holding 

his heart tight, and I always will!

...and in the quiet stillness between sleep and wakefulness, I hear, and I remember.
