Had to step outside...

Lord knows I need to finish things inside, but it's Spring and the birdies are singing.

The bees are buzzing, and this...

needed to be cut back.  The cuttings are now filled, in vases throughout the house.

and these white Iris's  are all coming into bloom.  As I got closer, I spotted...

our favorite friend, busy, working, toiling away.  Diligent in his goals. Good work ethics to learn by.

I am humbled by a bee!

I am off to finish, what I started this morning, and I shall be diligent in my endeavor!

The Boys of Summer Are on the Way!

One of my very, very favorite, boys!

This is Wesley, my # 1 grandson, on shortstop.

Got up, and watched him play two games this morning.

Had to take a break and come home, he plays again tonight!

He got to pitch in the 2nd game and struck out 3 batters in a row!

But all his little brother cared about was his hot dog!
My other favorite boy!

#2 grandson, Eric, the kid who is always eating!

Off to the next game! 

The 15th...More than a Tax Day!

Steampunk? Or Punked in the Pumpkin Patch?

One Steamed Pumpkin just got junked!

Now pumpkins are usually carved,

but when the Halloween Queens, threw out a challenge,

to create steampunk Halloween, I couldn't resist.

I also have to admit that this challenge, was a challenge.

So my steampunk pumpkin is more like a pumpkin who got junked

in the pumpkin patch!

But be on the lookout,

because this steampunked pumpkin will be

listed on Ebay, Wednesday night, the 7th.
