Preping to Paint!

It's a slow lazy week, trying to take down Christmas.
Hoping to organize, but I'm getting distracted again.
I was going to prep a huge canvas and start painting.
But I found these tiny canvas's and started playing with
liquid pencil...I could play around with color washes all day.
and watercolors!
The vulture, started out as an owl, but hey!
My mind wondered!
all of these are the first layer, now for the details.
And I'm going to mix a batch of paper mache and see what
what happens.

I also want to change the blog again!
Not so slow and lazy after all.
Be Well!

My Favorite Ornament!

This really is one of my favorite oraments.
Many years ago my husband and I went to
a huge Christmas store, in New Jersey,
and we bought several boxes of reproduction vintage ornaments.
They are just about on a second go round as being Vintage,
as we've had them so long, almost 30 years.
My gosh, where does the time go?

And Yes, I'm still decorating...
Still!
We usally get a 9ft. tree, but this year I got a 6 footer, and put it
on a sofa table...thinking I wouldn't need as many ornaments!
Wrong!
It needs...to be filled, just as much as a large tree.

And I got the cutest, Marie Christmas card!

I just think it's the cutest!
It's by, Margot Elena, TOKYOMILK.
Objects of Desire.
I'll have to look her up.

Still have to finish my shopping, and...just tons to do,
but, I love it!

Be well!

Silver and...

Sparkle!
I'm finally making some progress with,
Decking my Halls!

I love mercury glass, and can't get enough of it.
I love the white on white, and the shimmer of
glitter and light.
I just finished painting my old piano white!
Yep I took the plunge, and painted this.
1950s style.
I've always wanted to paint it white,
I think it's fitting for this style.
Since it's all shiny and white, I had
display some Holiday Cheer on it.

and it's the perfect place to display the new snowman
I just received a few days ago from, Marsha.
Please take some time to visit her blog, The Tattered Chick.
she makes the coolest rusty bits of jewelry!

Now as soon as I'm finished with the other side of the room,
all Christmas Red, I'll get that posted!

Have a great Wednesday!!!
