We Are Many...

We Are One!

A couple of weeks ago, I read an article, written by
 about, Community.

Little did I know at that time, how poignant
that article would affect my, sense of Community
in the past few days.
With the devastation that has happened in my Community,
I've watched strangers come together.
I see kindness and consideration.
I see the emotions of families,
their thankfulness,
their gratitude,
and their sorrow!
I see, the helping hands,
the generosity, of giving.
I see the Community!
We are rich, we are poor,
we have homes built with sticks,
and homes built with marble,
but our Community is One!

So, with brick by brick,
and hammer to nail,
maybe, just maybe, we can
build a stronger, sense of Community.
We are Many, We are One!

Be Well!

Relish the community feeling...there's nothing like it. I'm glad it had such a positive influence.

Years ago, I was blessed to be able to experience the strength and love of community. Being young at the time,it was such an experience of love & kindness that has stayed with me my whole life.

When the news and pics broke out of the horrific devastation in Joplin, I was so sad and heart sick, as the days went on, in watching the news and special reports of Joplin, it was so wonderful to see the community coming together with such hope, strength, love and kindness.

It is an amazing and wonderful testament of Faith and hope from the community of Joplin.

Hugs,
~Diane

I'm always heart sick when I see events such as we've seen recently in Japan and now in Joplin. Then I see how people come together for one another in the aftermath it makes me feel hopeful again. This was a great post Lisa. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs

Oh Lisa! BIG loving hugs to you! This was such a beautiful post it brought tears to my eyes. It is most crucial in times like this for community to come together. Coming together to support each other without any "strings attached" is what it is all about. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt post. xoxo Theresa
