It's the time, of the Season...

I love this time of the year.

It's not hot, but it's not cold either.
The phasing of one season to the next, doesn't
always pertain to the weather.

I have realized over the last few months
that this body I walk around in, changes too.
But it doesn't mean I have to surrender to dried
falling leaves that crunch beneath my feet.
I don't want to.
I want to know the change is good, knowing that
things go dormant, preparing for the new,
I'd like to think, and I will, that I'll
embrace the changing of my season.
I know the grass will turn green again.
I know that beneath the soil the plantings are
resting and preparing for the sprouts of renewal.

Onward Ho!

Be Well!

Hi, Lisa
I love your post here. Yes, we all go through those life changes, not always fun, but we somehow seem to survive them. I just don't want to be too dormant not to be able to grow again!
I too love the fall season, the crisp air, the falling leaves.
hugs,

A beautiful post, Lisa! Ah, yes, I can feel the changes in my body and at my age I am in the fall of my life, approaching winter, LOL

It's still in the 90s/80s here but the mornings are chilly so I know fall is around the corner!!

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Much love,
Marsha

P.S. Yes, you have the capture on your comments :)

Hey cute girl! How did you know my thoughts have been on this lately? When I get up and look in the mirror in the mornings I find myself asking 'who in the heck are you'???????? But no matter who she is, I'll do my best to love her : ))) It's just weird though, how as we age, our minds are still who we always were, so dealing with the changes our body's make seems so foreign.
It is always so nice to catch up with you and visit Lisa! Have a wonderful day!
sending hugs your way...

Lisa, what a nice post.
I've gone through my autumn, all my leaves have dried up... winter is definetly here in my body. I'm glad it is still fall outside, though. It is my very favorite season.
